Guest rules
A few simple rules keep Camppointe quiet, clean, and safe for everyone, whether you're here for a night or a season.
Arrival and visitors
- Check-in is after 1:00 pm and check-out is by 11:00 am. Call or text if you need a different time.
- Every guest and every vehicle staying at the park must be registered.
- Visitors must check in with park management. Unregistered visitors will be asked to leave.
- No day or overnight visitors on Memorial Day weekend, the week of July 4th, Labor Day weekend, or Columbus Day weekend.
- We'll do our best to honor site requests, but specific site numbers can't be guaranteed.
Your site
- We accept self-contained RVs only. RVs must be in good working order, up to 50 feet.
- One RV per site. Park your RV and vehicles on your gravel pad, not on the grass or in the road.
- Keep your site clean. Bag all trash and put it in the dumpster.
- No vehicle or RV repairs beyond minor maintenance, and no oil changes on site.
- Leave the utility pedestal accessible. Don't modify park electrical, water, or sewer connections.
Sewer and septic
The park runs on a septic system, so what goes down your tank matters.
- Use a sealed sewer connection (a rubber donut or threaded fitting) with no leaks.
- Use RV or septic-safe toilet paper and septic-safe tank treatments only.
- Never flush wipes, grease, feminine products, or harsh chemicals.
Pets
- Pets are welcome. Keep them on a leash no longer than 6 feet whenever they're outside.
- Pick up after your pet right away.
- Don't leave pets unattended outside, and don't let barking become a problem for your neighbors.
- Pet owners are responsible for any injury or damage their pet causes.
Quiet hours
Quiet hours are 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. Many of our guests work early shifts, so please keep music, generators, and gatherings down.
Safety
- Drive 10 mph or slower. All vehicles and bicycles yield to pedestrians.
- Campfires are allowed only in designated fire pits. Don't move fire pits for any reason, and follow any Grayson County burn ban.
- No smoking in park buildings or near propane tanks. Dispose of cigarettes properly.
- Firearms and fireworks are not permitted on park property for any reason.
- Supervise children at all times.
Monthly guests
- Your signed monthly agreement covers rent, due dates, deposit, and notice terms. If it conflicts with these rules, the agreement controls.
- Electric is metered at your site and billed monthly.
- Monthly stays are month to month with 30 days' notice.
Enforcement
These rules keep the park safe and pleasant for everyone. Breaking them can mean early departure without a refund. Rules may change, and the current version is always posted here.
